The aquamarine main stone of 379.21 ct recalls the greenish blue ocean as enchanting as a fish’s dream. Its extreme clarity takes gazes back to the morning when the little mermaid shed her first and only tear. That was the morning when her love and life with the ocean dissolved and became a drop in it. Be it a great love story, a precious stone, or craftsmanship, the scarcest almost always makes the sweetest.
Around the main stone small diamonds are embedded, and each of them sparkles like a star. Small aquamarines are embedded in reverse to highlight the main stone’s natural gleam, which is also an unconventional method to construct various forms that enrich the necklace and earrings’ appearance. Using precious stones as a unique form of languages, and further combining which with extraordinary creativity and craftsmanship, Wallace Chan narrates the impression of an ocean and makes it come alive in terms of visions, sounds and senses. Its tranquility, elegance and mystery are delicately depicted.
The pendant takes the shape of a rudder, evoking feelings of sailing the ocean and encountering waves between the wind and light. With white diamonds, sapphires and crystal, Wallace Chan composed chains that hang like fuchsia, and their lively and swingy movements echo that of the soothing sounds of ocean waves. As for the various shapes and textures of this parure of necklace and earrings, they create a rhythm that belongs to the ocean, which is much like the ever-changing nature of human emotions.
